In September 2017 NSW Attorney General announced a review of NSW Government support for Community Legal Centres (CLCs) in NSW. The aim of the review was to ensure that legal assistance is directed to people most in need, improving CLC service provision and to assist the NSW Government in settling an approach to funding allocation.
The review was conducted by Mr Alan Cameron AO, who acted independently of his role at the NSW Law Reform Commission.
